After some teething problems with the Brunel concept, I’ve been continuing my search for my next ground-breaking comics project :
I’m pretty sure this is not it.
Another weekend of being unable to produce comics (but at least I have almost finished PvZ – woo! Freedom is near!), but here are some doodles so that I can convince myself I have not been entirely unproductive:
Loomba the goldfish passed on to the fish tank in the sky yesterday. We will remember her always.
In happier news, the fantastically talented Garen Ewing‘s book, the Rainbow Orchid, is getting close to it’s release date, so I strongly recommend that you have a read of the preview and preorder your copy now – it’s a rip-roaring adventure in a classic style, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!
Another comic about comics. Will the meta never end?
Sometimes I really wish my brain would just SHUT UP.
Yes, you all asked for it, so here it is: Episode 1 of internet comic sensation, Brunel and Stovie (seemlessly woven on to the end of my previous comic here)! Stand aside, Beaton, there’s a new history comic in town:
I feel like I might have written myself into a bit of a corner in this one, but I’m sure I can work it out. Internet super-stardom, here I come!
I was all set to draw my first episode of Brunel and Stovie this weekend, but I encountered a little stumbling block along the way – a little game called Friggin’ Plants Vs Goddam Zombies. Oh god I hate this game, but it will not let me stop playing! Damn you with your cute graphics and surprising depth! I WILL KILL YOU!
I have come to realise that I should just not be allowed to buy games – they always seem like a fun little diversion when I start, but before I know it I am sitting in my underwear, watering virtual plants at 4 in the morning, wondering where my life went wrong – but unable to stop until I have unlocked every. last. little. thing. ARGGGGH.
Ah, who am I kidding? I love Plants Vs Zombies! Weeeeeeeeeee!
