I have made the shocking decision to make the cover RED. I made this decision very late at night though, so in the cold light of day I may change my mind. We shall just have to wait and see. But look! A title! And a pie!

The book is going to be landscape shaped because all the comics are landscape these days which makes everything a lot easier. I hope that’s not going to ruin the look of your bookshelf!

The red contrasts nicely with the green, and also makes it look full of holiday cheer. It also makes me think of the characters erupting out of the pie to a new dawn… a new day.

    Looks lovely! 🙂

Tis a thing of great beauty! As for the title…I was expecting something relating to shoes again but ‘the flaky crust of disaster’ is amazing! I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to owning this book! In fact, I’m considering buying two copies just because of the covers awesomeness. One for the coffee table to idly flick through while my missus watches endless repeats of ‘Location, Location, Location’ and another to adorn my bookshelf, wrapped in plastic and never to be touched again by human hands!
I know you’re probably busy with the book right now but any chance of releasing the cover design as t-shirt at some point in the future? Also, I seem to remember an amazing design you did of a moth, similar to the ‘anatomy of a pixie’ but there is no sign of it in the archives? If you repost it up here, I promise I’ll buy two copies of the book.

That will do nicely sir, two copies it is.

Threadless were fools not to use the Moth design, but considering some of the tripe they’ve been releasing recently, it’s hardly surprising.

Though it’s a shame it’s in a landscape format (whilst the original wasn’t) I guess it’s less of a bugger to try to fit the scripts in. When do we get our sweaty mitts on this marvel? Can one pre-order already?
